PROFILE OF PHILLIP ROSE - MANAGING DIRECTOR, INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISOR LIMITED

In 2006, Phillip Rose launched chartered financial planning company, Independent Financial Advisor Limited (IFA), which advises a wealth of high net worth clients. 42-year-old Phillip is a highly respected chartered financial adviser who has worked in the financial services sector for more than 20 years.

Unlike most IFAs, it is his own first-hand business experience that enables him to offer a comprehensive expert service in almost every scenario. Phillip has established and sold his own sole trading business to an AIM listed accountancy practice, been then purchased by one of the largest LLP’s in the UK and subsequently set up his own limited company and entered into several joint venture limited liability partnerships with accountants. This has tried and tested his financial planning expertise.

He sold his business to accountancy firm Numerica, where he spent 3 years on the financial services board of directors, Phillip earned a reputation for being something of a maverick. He was known for his vision, proactive approach, questioning mind and straight-talking personality. BDO subsequently purchased Numerica and he worked as a board director at BDO Stoy Hayward,

Upon being disillusioned with the large company mentality His entire client base, numbering some 120, loyally followed him to IFA which Phillip launched with long-term business partner, John Holt and several members of staff.
